Discover Organic Farming in Japan—Beyond the Tourist Attractions
Looking for an unforgettable experience during your stay in Japan?
Step into the peaceful countryside of Kakegawa, Shizuoka, and spend time on a real working organic farm with the farmers who grow your food.
This is not a tourist farm.
It is one of the largest certified organic farms in Shizuoka, producing more than 50 varieties of vegetables throughout the year. Here you'll discover how healthy soil, biodiversity, and respect for nature come together to produce delicious food.
Walk through the fields, harvest seasonal vegetables with your own hands, and hear the stories behind Japanese organic farming—all in English.
Before your visit, we'll even send you a box of our fresh organic vegetables so you can taste our harvest at home and experience the difference before you arrive.

About Our Farm
Our farm covers an area approximately 1.5 times the size of the Tokyo Dome and grows more than 50 varieties of certified organic vegetables every year.
Since 2014, we have been certified under Japan's Organic JAS Standard.
*Organic JAS is only an official certification which allows farmers to use the word "organic" when they sell their products.
Every year, our vegetables are dedicated to Ise Grand Shrine, one of Japan's most sacred places, as an expression of gratitude for nature.
We believe organic farming is more than producing food—it is a way to protect the environment, support biodiversity, and create a healthier future for the next generation.
Kakegawa has been officially recognized as an "Organic Village," promoting sustainable agriculture throughout the community. We invite you to experience what the future of Japanese farming looks like.

How the Experience Works
1. Enjoy Our Vegetables Before Your Visit
After your reservation, we'll send an organic vegetable box to your home in Japan.
Taste the vegetables first and discover their freshness.
We'll also include our annual growing calendar so you can choose the season that interests you most.

2. Visit the Farm
Our regular farm tours are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, when we harvest and ship vegetables throughout Japan.
This allows you to experience real farm operations rather than a demonstration.
The tour and harvesting experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
If these days are not convenient, we'll do our best to arrange another date.
Access
● About 4 km north of Kakegawa Station (Tokaido Shinkansen)
● About 15 minutes from Kakegawa IC (Tomei Expressway)
● Pickup service from Kakegawa Station is available upon request.

3. Group Size
One booking covers up to three adults.
Children of junior high school age or younger may join free with their family.
Additional adults are welcome for an extra participation fee.

4. If You Cannot Visit
Life happens, and travel plans sometimes change.
Your ticket remains valid for one full year, and because Shizuoka's mild climate allows vegetables to grow outdoors throughout the year, you may reschedule your visit in any season.
If you're ultimately unable to visit, we'll happily send you another organic vegetable box instead, so your purchase is never wasted.

Meet Your Farmer
My name is Masami Osumi, a representative of the organic farm.
Before becoming an organic farmer, I taught agriculture at a high school in Shizuoka for many years.
During my teaching career, I visited organic farms in Germany and France to study sustainable agriculture. One conversation with an elderly organic grape grower overlooking the Rhine Valley changed my life and inspired me to dedicate myself to organic farming.
Before starting this farm, I also traveled to Oregon in the United States to learn from leading organic farmers.
Today, my mission is simple:
To grow healthy food while protecting the environment for future generations.
I look forward to welcoming you to our farm, sharing our story, and spending a memorable day with you in the beautiful countryside of Japan.
